HCM City honours artists, artisans awarded with State titles

They are typical examples dedicated to Vietnamese culture and arts and also the elite force responsible for building and promoting unique cultural and artistic brands of Ho Chi Minh City.

Politburo member and Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan congratulated artists and artisans for their ceaseless efforts as well as being awarded with noble titles by the State.

He said that talents in the artistic and cultural sector are valuable assets of the nation who are making contributions to building and developing the national culture and arts.

Nhan expressed his belief that the artist and artisan circle of Ho Chi Minh City will promote their patriotism and creativity to further boost the development of culture and arts, contributing to the development of Ho Chi Minh City.

People’s Artist Thanh Tuan said that the awarded titles were a great honour and joy for him, his family and the circle of artists and artisans. Artists and artisans of Ho Chi Minh City will exert more effort to devote to their audiences, people and the nation, Tuan added.
