VTV.vn - Hanoians have been suggested to carry a correct form of travel permit issued together with personal identification documents, duty schedule and assignment of tasks to be eligible to travel during the current social distancing restrictions.

The Hanoi People's Committee has issued Document No. 2562/UBND-KT on tightening the issuance and use of travel permits during the social distancing period according to Official Dispatch No. 18/CD-UBND from the chairperson of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Accordingly, the Hanoi People's Committee requires local residents to have a travel certificate in the form issued with Official Letter No. 2434/UBND-KT dated July 29, 2021 by the Hanoi People's Committee to be allowed to travel during social distancing, along with a citizen identification or identity card, work schedule and assignment documents granted to them by their agencies or the units they are working for.

The capital city’s authorities suggested local agencies, units and organisations allow their labourers to work from home; with only those who must come to work in case of necessity such as on duty, handling confidential documents and other urgent tasks allowed to do so.

Heads of units are responsible for closely managing their civil servants and employees, committing to ensuring regulations on COVID-19 prevention and taking responsibility when they are involved in disease transmission due to the non-observance of regulations.

The travel permits, as well as working plans during the social distancing period that will last until August 23, should not be provided to the wrong subjects or used for illegitimate purposes.

The Hanoi City Police, local People's Committees and community-based self-governing COVID-19 control groups are required to tighten the inspection and supervision of the use of travel permits and travel documents, the arrangement of working plans and business schedules during social distancing, while strictly handling violations of the regulations.
