Hanoi receives 1st train car batch for urban railway

This newly-arrived batch includes two locomotives and two compartment coaches. They are being kept at a warehouse in Ha Dong District, next to La Khê station - one of the stations in the Cat Linh-Ha Dong railway.

Cat Linh-Ha Dong will be the first light urban railway in Hanoi. Together with the bus network, this project is expected to solve traffic congestion and aims to accommodate 35-45 percent of all commuters.
