Hanoi launches month for the poor

The event was organised by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Hanoi People’s Committee. Speakers emphasised that poverty reduction was not only an economic issue, but also a condition to ensure political and social stability. To mark Vietnam’s Businessman Day, 322 enterprises in Hanoi were awarded for their contribution to the country’s economy, among the 200 thousands business operating in the area.
