Hanoi faces serious traffic jams

VTV.vn - Many streets in the capital city, especially ring roads and roads leading to surrounding provinces, saw severe congestion. There were even times when vehicles couldn’t move.

In the Southern parts of Hanoi, thousands of automobiles lined up and waited for hours to enter the city. In the inner part of Hanoi, congestion lasted for hours in some streets.

Although a significant number of college students have left Hanoi for home to prepare for Tet celebrations, traffic jams are still inevitable as Tet nears.
