Hanoi benefactors present 800 gifts to flood victims in central region

Each gift is worth VND500,000 in cash and kind and is expected to ease difficulties and help flood victims stabilise their lives and restore production.

The benefactors presented 200 gifts to local people in Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province, 200 gifts to pupils and residents in the Thach Ha and Can Loc districts in Ha Tinh province, and 400 gifts to people in Vinh O commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province.

Members of the charitable group expressed their sympathy over the difficulties and losses that local peoplehave suffered in recent times.

They also wished to join hands with the community to support people in the central region to soon overcome these difficulties and stabilise their lives.
