This week’s episode marked the final weekly competition of the 25th season, featuring four contestants: Vu Minh Duc (Tran Nguyen Han High School, Hai Phong), Duong Ngo Minh Duc (Thai Nguyen Specialized High School), Pham Thai Dan (High School of Education Sciences, Hanoi), and Nguyen Le Tuan (Le Hong Phong Specialized High School, Ho Chi Minh City).
In the Individual Warm-Up round, Vu Minh Duc quickly took the lead with 50 points. Meanwhile the other three contestants - Duong Ngo Minh Duc, Thai Dan, and Le Tuan - each scored 20 points. After the General Warm-Up round, Duc maintained his advantage with 45 points, while Duong Ngo Minh Duc trailed with only 15.
The competition reached its first turning point in the Overcome Obstacle round. None of the contestants could solve the puzzle with the first clue. However, once the second clue was revealed, Vu Minh Duc was the first to ring the bell and correctly identify the answer: poet To Huu. His quick thinking propelled him into the lead with 115 points.
The Speed-up round, often the golden opportunity to rack up points, saw all four contestants pushing hard. Once again, it was Vu Minh Duc who capitalized most effectively, steadily strengthening his lead despite the frequent shifts in rankings. By the end of the round, he was in first place with 185 points, followed by Thai Dan with 165, Duong Ngo Minh Duc with 115, and Le Tuan with 100.
The Finish round delivered high drama as usual. Going first, Vu Minh Duc chose a package of three 20-point questions. He answered only the last one correctly and finishing his set with 205 points.
Thai Dan, competing second, also chose the 20-point package. He scored on his first question but lost points to Vu Minh Duc on the second. He ended strong with a Hope Star on the last, and finished the round with 205 points.
Opting for the 20–30–20 package, Duong Ngo Minh Duc capitalized on his IELTS 8.0 to breeze through the English question, but stumbled on the other two and missed the chance to earn more points.
Finally, Le Tuan, the last contestant, opted for a 30–30–20 package. Unfortunately, he missed his first question on History and lost the other two to his rivals, Duong Ngo Minh Duc and Thai Dan. He ended with 90 points. When the dust settled, it was Vu Minh Duc who emerged victorious with 225 points, claiming the laurel wreath of this week’s Road Olympia Mount. Thai Dan secured second place with 210 points, followed by Duong Ngo Minh Duc and Le Tuan.
