Ha Tinh focuses on industrial and agriculture development

Ha Tinh has organised many conferences to promote domestic and foreign investment, implemented administrative reforms, land clearance, and issued a host of preferential policies for enterprises.  There are hundreds of projects currently being carried out at the Vung Ang Economic zone such as the thermal power plant clusters with total capacity over 7,000 MW, accounting for over 30% of national electricity output, or the steel manufacturing factory with capacity of 22 million tonnes per year, the largest in the region. These projects have helped Ha Tinh become one of country’s largest attractors of registered FDI in Vietnam, and will contribute to an annual increase of five billion USD for the region.
