Government agrees to extend $1.3 billion housing package

Earlier, the central bank also submitted a document to the PM to extend refinancing for credit contracts signed before March 31 this year, for individuals and households borrowing money to buy, rent or repair their houses until the end of this year.

The total refinancing will amount to around 32.7 trillion VND including the current 30 trillion VND. Local banks have pledged a total of 24.2 trillion VND in loans for nearly 49,900 individuals and households.
