Google appoints new head of marketing for Vietnam
VTV.vn - Google has appointed Nguyen Phuong Anh as the new marketing head, Vietnam for Google Asia Pacific.

Anh replaces Sophie Tran, who has accepted a new global role as the YouTube creator marketing manager at Google Inc. She is responsible for overseeing and managing Google’s marketing efforts across all products and brand campaigns.

Previously, Anh was the managing director of Zalora Vietnam, an online fashion retailer. She has experience in working across e-commerce, fashion, brands, media and consumer insights from various markets.

Phuong Anh said: "After working in e-commerce for almost four years using Google products and services on a daily basis, now it's time to explore how innovation can improve the way we live, learn, connect and grow together. There are so many aspects of Google products which can add tremendous value for businesses and individuals, and I feel honored to be part of bringing that experience to the Vietnamese market and consumers even further."

She started her career in communication design and fashion publishing; working for magazines such as Elle magazine in Vietnam and V magazine in New York. She graduated from the University of Applied Science in Berlin and is an active member of Global Shapers HCMC, a network of hubs developed and led by young people to make a contribution to their communities.
