Gia Lai provinces pushes back nomadism
VTV.vn - Gia Lai Province is one of the regions with the biggest population of nomads. This is why the local authorities have intervened to roll out support policies for the resettlement of nearly 3000 local ethnic people.
The project costs an estimated 4.9 million USD. Gia Lai Province has so far excecuted 10 concentrated resettlement projects and 94 integrated resettlement projects. The authorities have also provided each of these families with 800 USD for their resettling expenses. The areas of resettlement are also accelerating their efforts to enhance infrastructure and amenities.
