VTV.vn - Vietnam's Gross Domestic Product for 2016 is forecasted to be lower than the 6.7% recorded last year.

GDP growth in the first 9-month period remains 0.6% lower than last year's figure, although the country posted continuous quarter-on-quarter GDP rises during the period. The figures were released this morning by the General Statistics Office in Hanoi.

However, the agricultural sector still needs attention, especially in terms of efforts to restructure the sector, the application of advanced technology and climate change adaptation.
