Friendship order granted to Russia's leading university

On behalf of the Vietnamese State, Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh handed over the order to the university saying that it was to recognize its great contributions to the development of the Vietnam-Russia friendship as well as human resources training for the Southeast Asian nation over the past six decades. Rector Victor Sadovnichy said he was touched by Vietnam’s recognition of his work, and urged for further educational cooperation with Vietnam. MGU, one of the oldest Russian institutions of higher education, has been one of the world’s Top 100 universities for years.
