Forum held on prevention of sexual violence against women and girls

The forum was organized by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The forum is believed to be an opportunity for regulators to look at gaps in legislation and provisions of support for victims and perpetrators.

Currently, agencies are working to improve policies and the approval of programs and projects, such as Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2016-2020 with a vision for 2030.

In addition, some models, such as community shelters, centers providing gender equality services and safe schools without violence, have been deployed.
