Formosa waste monitored

The waste was identified as a mixture of industrial and hazardous waste, and both its owner, the Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co. Ltd, and the company responsible for dumping the waste must bear responsibility.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Ha Tinh has launched several measures to control and supervise the amount of waste. The amount of waste generated every day by Formosa will be calculated based on reports from Formosa and the control and supervision of the local authorities.
