Food tourism training to serve APEC

Da Nang Department of Tourism held a workshop to train chefs of 18 hotels in use at the event. These are chefs from 5-star hotels who had experience in serving at the APEC 2006 Summit in Hanoi.

Regarding food safety, the city's Food Hygiene and Safety Division will constantly carry out food and drinks inspections throughout the city to ensure food quality during the APEC Summit.

So far the food safety division completed food inspections at 16 out of the 17 hotels hosting summit guests.
