Food safety month to launch in April

The campaign was initiated by Vietnam's Administration for Food Safety and Hygiene Department, Ministry of Health to promote the production, selling and consumption of safe vegetables and meat.

The campaign’s activities include inspections to prevent food poisoning, and to enhance customers’ confidence in buying and consuming fresh food. Media will be widely used to raise awareness of laws on food safety and requirements of food certificates.
