Flower ceremony honors war martyrs and veterans
VTV.vn - A ceremony took place by the Thach Han river in Quang Tri province to honour the country's war martyrs and veterans.
The event saw thousands of veterans, laying down flowers onto the water to pay their respects to fallen soldiers who lost their lives during the 81-day battle in 1972 to protect the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel.
The veterans participating in the requiem represented the 25,000 members of soldiers who fought to protect the ancient Citadel in 1972.
