Flooding in northern and central provinces

Over the past few days a tropical depression has been bringing heavy rains to some Northern and Central provinces. The rain has adversely affected many people and caused a lot of chaos. Numerous people were killed and hundreds of houses have been destroyed.

In Yen Bai province, rain caused landslides at Lam Giang railway station on the Hanoi - Lao Cai railway. Some freight cars were buried and require 4 days to be repaired.

Other Northern provinces are also struggling with floods and rains from the tropical depression.
