Fishing praying ceremony held in Thai Binh

Thousands of fishermen in Diem Dien Town arrived at the town's center to attend the fishing praying ceremony to pray for a year of good weather and prosperity.

Thai Thuy District has one of the largest fishing fleets in Thai Binh Province, with more than 500 vessels. Local fishermen are experienced in offshore fishing and have developed strong solidarity and union in fishing at sea. Also this morning, 9 swimming teams joined the crawl contest that was held to encourage fishermen to work towards better fishing yields this year.
