First tissue bank in Vietnam

The tissue bank was built following international standards and has become the leading research center for tissue preservation, tissue engineering, and stem cell technology.

It also accepts sperm and egg contributions. The tissue bank will contribute to improving the quality of medical treatments and meet the demands for the application of advanced and specialized techniques in Việt Đức Hospital and in the country as a whole. The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security has donated a number of machines worth over 200,000 USD to Việt Đức hospital for the storage and transportation of organs.
