Fifth Hanoi int’l film festival to feature 500 movies

Films for the competition are selected from nearly fifty countries and territories around the world, some of which have never competed in international film festivals in Asia. Themed "Cinema: Integration and Sustainable Development", the festival is slated for October 27-31.

The screenings will take place at the National Cinema Centre, the August Theatre, the Kim Đồng movie theatre, and others. A script-writing camp, a film project market, free screenings, and film discussions will be arranged. A wide range of awards will be presented at the end of the event, including those for best film, director, actors, and actresses.
