The decree is expected to resolve difficulties that arose during the implementation of Decree 67, including lengthening the maturity of loans for building steel boats with new materials. Previously, loan maturity was set at 11 years, creating a burden for fishermen.
Now, it is stretched to 16 years and fishermen do not have to pay off the whole package at once. Moreover, design costs for boats with a capacity from 400 horsepower will be supported 100%.
