VTV.vn - The heat spell that's been hitting the central and northern regions of Vietnam has seriously affected the lives and production of farmers.

In the Red River Delta, this week is the time when farmers need to sow their seeds and begin the next crop season. Many farmers and producers have resorted to working nights in order to avoid the heat.

Agricultural experts say farmers in the Red River Delta have never had to resort to working at night. It seems that the effects of climate change in recent years have made things more and more unpredictable. It's 5:30 am and the farmers have just finished their work. It won't be long until the sun rises and the farmers leave their fields uncertain of whether or not their seeds will survive.
