Famous painter commemorated

His fellow school friends were renowned painters such as Bùi Xuân Phái and Nguyễn Tư Nghiêm. To commemorate his 100th birthday, painters from different generations have gathered and celebrated his legacy in the special exhibition held at the Vietnam University of Fine Arts.

With simple brush strokes, paintings produced by Ta Thuc Binh over 60 years are always closely related to daily life and the country style. In the last years of his life, his works still imbued with simplicity, soul and beauty. The special exhibition to commemorate his 100th birthday will run until this Saturday.
