Export of fruits and nuts reach US$2.2bln

VTV.vn - Vietnam’s export of fruits and nuts in 2020 was estimated at 2.2 billion USD, down more than 20% compared to 2019. Of the markets, exports to China plunged due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, other major markets witnessed an expansion in demand for this product. Fruit and nuts are the main export category in Vietnam's agricultural exports, accounting for nearly 68% of the total.

Currently, new emerging markets such as Thailand, the UAE, Australia, Korea, and Japan have also seen high import demand for these commodities.
