VTV.vn - An exhibition, entitled “Cambodia – A Kingdom of Culture” opened at the Can Tho City Museum, in the southern city of Can Tho, on November 19.

The event, co-organised by the Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Cambodia Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, is taking place as part of the 2019 Cambodian Cultural Week in Vietnam.

The exhibition features nearly 50 art photos, presenting to Vietnamese people the richness of both intangible and tangible cultural heritages, the beauty of the natural landscape and the warmth of the Cambodian people.

Visitors can take a visual tour of Cambodia through photos of Angkor Wat, Preah Vihear Temple, Apsara dancing and other aspects in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

The exhibition also displays traditional costumes, ancient paintings, sculptures and musical instruments.

Attendees can also peruse photos and information of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Battambang and Sihanoukville, which have great economic potential and attractive cultural and tourist destinations.

The exhibition will run until November 22.
