VTV.vn - In a recent dialogue held between Ho Chi Minh City’s Taxation Department and businesses, many companies complained that tax offices at all levels have been slow in providing tax refunds.

Tax offices received more than 22,000 VAT refund applications worth nearly $4.5 billion last year. However, 650 files did not meet the time prescribed, accounting for 2.9% resolved files. To solve this problem, the Ministry of Finance have requested tax departments to use IT to receive and return tax refund bills. However, there are still delays in the refund procedure, causing difficulties for businesses.
