Enhancements of online tax collection services proposed

This proposal aims to improve tax collection operations for e-commerce activities, and is part of a discussions on the amended draft Law on Tax Management. Accordingly, the taxation sector will run electronic tax collection services, such as online tax declarations and e-invoices. This move is expected to help tax payers access online services to keep up with technological advancements. The Ministry of Finance will work with the State Bank of Vietnam to guide commercial banks in collecting taxes from Google, Facebook and Youtube.
