Electronic export-import system shows effectiveness

Research showed the effectiveness of these online administrative procedures, with 65% of enterprises rating them good, 32% of which were rated excellent. Operating since 2014, the electronic customs clearance system handles more than 40 procedures and involves 50% of import and export enterprises. Despite saving up to 20% of time compared to traditional paperwork, this online system still faces challenges, mostly because some businesses aren't used to modern methods. For this reason, VECITA, along with the Import and Export Department of the MOIT have set up the Vietnam Online Export Support Alliance (VESA) to support enterprises with this online system.
