Eight durian growing regions in can tho granted planting codes

This allows the durians harvested by Can Tho farmers to officially be exported to the Chinese market.

Ô Môn district has 4 units that have been granted planting area codes, namely Thới Lai and Phong Điền districts, with 2 units each, with a total area of more than 200 hectares, including 4 agricultural cooperatives and two farming households.

The whole city of Can Tho currently has about 3,000 hectares of durian cultivation. The current area ready for harvest is about 2,500 hectares, with an output of about 40,000 tons. In recent years, most of these agricultural products have been consumed domestically
