Duong Cam: "Morning Star singing contest is turning to a new page"

"Each contest night has a theme corresponding to a musical genre. Three contestants from three genres will be disqualified every night, making the contest more dramatic. Especially, this year contest has 4 finale nights, so the contestants will enjoy a  successive appearance and coverage on  TV, a great opportunity for him/her to approach the audience".

Every night, there will be 3 contestants in 3 different music genres cast out and only 6 candidates will be qualified for the final night. The Morning Star awarding ceremony will take place on April 14 and will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel.

The 2019 Morning Star award will include the first prize, the second prize for each music genre (Chamber, Folk, Pop). In addition, there are other awards for candidates in different fields of expertise.

In particular, one of the three contestants who won the first prize will be selected to attend the ABU TV Song Contest - a major and prestigious international competition organized by the Asia Broadcasting Union. Ocean to be held this year.
