Draft Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue revised

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the effectiveness of fire prevention, firefighting and rescue work of Viet Tri City, with the policy of implementing socialisation very effectively through mobilising families to equip themselves with fire extinguishers at home.

Emphasising the importance of the draft Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the Standing Committee of the National Defense and Security Committee coordinate with the drafting agency to continue to carefully study the regulations on prohibited acts directly related to human rights and civil rights.

He noted that regarding the contents related to fire prevention, difficulties and obstacles, he suggested that it is necessary to regulate in a way that is easy to do and implement, minimising administrative costs for people and businesses.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly's National Defence and Security Committee should fully synthesise the process of researching, receiving and revising the draft Law to have more information to provide to the National Assembly deputies when considering and approving the above draft Law at the upcoming 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.
