Discussing compensation for owners of broken ships

The meeting was attended by relevant agencies, owners of 20 steel fishing ships built under Decree 67, and Nam Trieu and Dai Nguyen Dương companies.

The affected fishermen have suffered heavy losses due to the damages sustained by their fishing ships, which was estimated at about 1.63 million US dollars. Losses include the interests of bank loans, payments for fishermen, and the lack of income for several months. Half of the 20 vessels with broken engines in Bình Định Province are still being fixed.
