Discipline imposed on MIC's party civil affairs committee

The citation is for the committee's violations in the case regarding MobiFone's purchase of 95 percent of the shares of AVG Audiovisual JSC.

The decision was made on Monday at a meeting chaired by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

According to the Secretariat, the MIC and the MobiFone Telecommunication Corporation seriously infringed upon legal regulations on building, assessing, approving, and carrying out the project, incurring huge losses to State assets.
