Dioxin purification project launched at Bien Hoa Airport

The event attracted the attention of 8 US senators from both parties. This indicates a changing in awareness of the US government and residents in mitigating the consequences of the war. Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh attended the launching ceremony.

The project at Bien Hoa Airport is worth 390 million USD, of which 183 million USD has been sourced from USAID. In addition, for the first time ever, the US government has provided direct financial support for dioxin victims with the amount of 50 million USD.
