Vietnamese big cities are facing commuting pressure due to the increasing amount of residents.
Hanoi is traffic-jammed every day and mostly in rush hour. Meanwhile, the city’s sattelite urban areas are not experiencing traffic congestion due to low demographic concentration. With the development of transport infrastructure, people living in sattelite areas will find it easier to travel downtown.
The government is also devising plans to encourage job creation and infrastructure in satellite areas so as to lure people to move from the inner city out.
