Developing building Da Lat strawberry brand

Farmers, as well as consumers, have said having a brand name for Da Lat strawberries would solve many long-standing problems in the market.

Seven varieties of strawberries grown in Da Lat will be certified as Da Lat strawberries. The growers in order to be certified must be grown in Da Lat or nearby localities, and meet quality and safety requirements.

Currently, along with the Da Lat Strawberries trademark, a roadmap to change farming techniques has also been introduced to improve the quality of Da Lat strawberries. Along with strawberries, Da Lat also trademarked items such as Cau Dat tea and persimmon fruit.

Earlier, vegetables and flowers from Da Lat have been given exclusive brands by the National Office of Intellectual Property.
