Models like that of the Vietnam-France University will help in boosting the self-autonomy of universities in Vietnam because they provide a practical basis on which to persuade people who are worrying about the process, he added.

The Deputy PM hailed the efforts of the officials, lecturers and students of Vietnam – France University in creating a successful model, which was one of cooperation projects between the Vietnamese and French Governments and peoples.

The Deputy PM expressed his hope that, combined with the strengths of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the University would continue to develop firmly, towards becoming a prestigious scientific research centre, not only in Vietnam but in the world.
