A delegation of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, led by Party Central Committee (PCC) member and the newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh, held working sessions with the Dak Lak provincial leaders and press agencies in the province on March 16.

At the working session with the Dak Lak provincial Party Committee, the delegation was briefed on the province’s outcomes in socio-economic development, defence-security maintenance, COVID-19 prevention and control, Party building, and communication over the past recent years.

Leaders of Dak Lak province spoke highly of Nhan Dan Newspaper’s achievements and expressed hope that the newspaper will provide more coverages on the locality’s development in order to advertise the land and people of Dak Lak to readers at home and abroad.

Speaking at the event, Minh, who is also Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, congratulated Dak Lak province on its fruitful achievements.

He stressed that over the past 71 years, Nhan Dan Newspaper has played the vanguard role in the ideological front and has made significant contributions to the country’s overall development.

The newspaper has seized opportunities brought by the fourth Industrial Revolution to develop Nhan Dan into a multimedia communication agency, he said, adding that the newspaper has also adopted many initiatives in fostering digitalisation in order to reach wider readers.

He expressed his hope that Dak Lak provincial authorities will continue promoting its cooperation with the newspaper in popularising information about the province and bringing the newspaper closer to local party committees and party members.
