VTV.vn - On Monday, the official ceremony of the 2nd Vietnam Coffee Day took place in Gia Nghia Commune, Dak Nong Province.

The annual event is an opportunity for Dak Nong Province to introduce Vietnamese coffee to the world and help improve the competitiveness of the Vietnamese coffee industry.

The annual "Vietnam Coffee Day" is held on December 10th every day, to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh's encouragement to develop coffee trees 57 years ago, on December 10th, 1961.

Since then, Vietnam has made great strides and become the second largest exporter of coffee. There were 53 booths from many provinces and cities nationwide, providing an opportunity for coffee enterprises to connect and promote Vietnamese coffee to customers in Vietnam and foreign partners.

Vietnam Coffee Day activities took place over three days, from 9th to 11th of December 2018.
