Czech - Vietnam business forum 2018

The forum is an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to update information on investment policies, opportunities for co-operation as well as meet with Czech enterprises.

At the forum, over 43 Vietnamese businesses had the opportunity to meet with 12 Czech businesses to seek opportunities in the fields of energy, finance, banking, power generation, electronics and insurance. The Czech Republic is currently one of the largest trading partners of Vietnam in central and eastern Europe.

In the first two months of 2018, the total trade turnover between the Czech Republic and Vietnam reached nearly 50 million US dollars, an increase of 31% over the same period last year. It is expected that the forum will also be held in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City to promote trade between the Czech Republic and Vietnam.
