Credit balance in Ho Chi Minh City increases sharply

The State Bank's Ho Chi Minh City branch said that by the end of February 2022, the total credit balance of credit institutions in the area was estimated at nearly 128 million USD, an increase of 3.54% compared to the end of last year and a high increase almost double the national average.

The above growth shows that production and business activities in Ho Chi Minh City have returned to normal and that the pandemic is under control.

Credit is being poured into production and business sectors to support business recovery. According to the State Bank, the credit of the whole industry as of the end of February had increased by 1.82% compared to last year.
