From February 23 to 25, the Military Command of Quang Binh Province coordinated with the province’s Department of Health to conduct free testing for more than 1,000 enlisted citizens.

On February 24, the People's Committee of Can Tho City agreed to perform COVID-19 testing for young people joining military service in 2021. Citizens returning to Can Tho from the epidemic-risk areas in particular are offered PCR quick tests.

Hanoi has finished testing for 3,659 citizens participating in military service and 854 citizens in police service (including the reserve force). The test samples have been sent to Hanoi Centre for Disease Control and the results will be announced on the afternoon of February 25.

According to the Department of Health of Thanh Hoa Province, from late January up to now, the surveillance system in Thanh Hoa has reviewed, traced, monitored, isolated and sampled 5,399 citizens, with 7,012 tests carried out. 59 foreign experts isolated at FLC Hotel had their first negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 virus and more than 3,500 young people preparing to join the army have also tested negative.

On February 24, Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Standing Deputy Secretary Le Van Hieu said that from February 25, localities in the northern province will simultaneously organise testing for SARS-CoV-2 for those working in husbandry and agricultural production, aimed at facilitating the export and consumption of Hai Duong agricultural products in the domestic market while ensuring safety against COVID-19.

On the same day, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban asked Kim Thanh District to drastically suppress the outbreak in the locale with accelerating tracing and testing for high-risk subjects.

According to the Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 in Hai Phong City, after detecting positive cases in the port city, the whole locale has restarted the operation of 2,500 community-based COVID-19 prevention and control groups with more than 30,000 participants. Social distancing measures have been implemented across the whole city under Directive 15 of the Prime Minister, with 5,000 beds prepared for centralised isolation. More than 2,600 samples taken on a large scale in the isolated areas with COVID-19 patients in Hai Phong have given negative results (1st time).

According to the Labour Federation of Hung Yen Province, as of February 24, there were 125 enterprises in industrial zones in the province coordinating with qualified COVID-19 testing facilities to take samples for 19,572 labourers, with over 16,000 samples showing negative results.

On February 24, Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee allowed service establishments in the province to reopen from 0:00 on February 25, except for non-essential services including bars, discos, beer clubs, karaoke parlours, spas, saunas, casinos and video game establishments. Bac Ninh also decided to allow local students to return to school from March 1 but are continuing to implement measures to limit crowds and religious gathering activities, and continuing to pause the welcoming of visitors and suspend festival activities until further notice.
