Congratulations extended to Buddhist followers during Vesak 2019
VTV.vn - To celebrate UN Day of Vesak 2019 which will be held in Vietnam, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Trần Thanh Mẫn met with the Most Venerable Thích Thiện Duyên, Deputy Supreme Patriarch of Patronage Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quảng Nam province on Thursday.
At the meeting, he praised the Most Venerable Thích Thiện Duyên and his dignitaries for their great contributions to national unity. He hopes that this tradition will continue.
On this occasion, the VFF President presented five houses to poor households in Tam Ky in Quang Nam province.
