Competition celebrates Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam friendship

The event is part of activities to mark the 55th anniversary diplomatic relations with Laos, and 50 years of friendship with Cambodia.

Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, and have all seen their shares of invasions, wars and loss. That's why the three countries have a close relationship. Many songs and literary works have been written about the historic friendship. For the first time, the Vietnam People's Army has organised a competition, urging the public of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam to send in their best works written about the history of the three countries and their friendship. The competition is expected to receive many entries with the participation of the Cambodian and Lao armies.

The campaign will run until November 2017, open for civilians and war veterans, both professionals and amateurs alike.
