VTV.vn - A company in Nha Trang city, central Khanh Hoa province, has been suspended for two months for the illegal use of foreign workers.

The Phong Nguyen Investment Limited Company was also fined 90 million VND (around 3,900 USD) for violations related to advertisements, Radio The Voice of Vietnam reported.

The city’s inspection team discovered five Chinese nationals working at a restaurant of the Phong Nguyen company. Two of them did not have work permits.

Khanh Hoa province’s authorities have discovered more than 300 foreigners illegally working in the province so far this year.

Most of them have been Chinese or Russians working as chefs, salespeople and tour guides. Over 220 of them have been fined a total of 2.2 billion VND (94,500 USD) for immigration violations.

Tran Son Hai, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, said many foreigners had misused tourist visas to stay in the country, adding that the situation needed to be addressed.
