Charity remembers British climber
VTV.vn - A charity has been established in the memory of British 22 year-old climber Aiden Webb who fatally slipped from a waterfall while ascending Mount Fansipan on June 4th.

The Charity named Aiden Shaw Webb Ascent or ASWA was established with the goal of improving the local school and infrastructure in the area.

ASWA aims to help relieve some of the consequences of poverty that the Hmong people residing in Xin Chai Village in northern Vietnam endure on a daily basis.

ASWA also aims to pay for the provision of public amenities such as the construction of concrete pathways to replace earth trails that transform into dangerous gullies during the rainy season.
