Charity event to support flood-affected areas

VTV.vn - The recent historic floods in the country’s northern provinces have heavily affected people’s lives. A charity music event entitled After the Floods has been organised as part of efforts to provide support to the affected communities.

The event was held on August 10 in Hanoi and attracted many participants.

Despite the short preparation time, the event proved popular, raising 700 million VND (~ 35,000 USD) so far. All proceeds from ticket sales and donations at the event will be transferred to families that were severely affected by the floods. ./.
