Challenges for tra fish exports to China

This growth has posed challenges for the country's tra fish industry due to the changes in the Chinese market. If tra fish products become too dependent on this market, it will be very passive on price and output.

Enterprises export the product through official channels under strict control of output and quality.

According to the Vietnam Pangasius Association, with a population of about 1.4 billion people, China is a huge market which consumes the largest amount of tra fish from Vietnam, accounting for about 30%.
